Port of Call: Juneau

Adventure on your own terms

Say goodbye to crowded busses and strict schedules. Take the wheel and explore Juneau on your own terms with a rental car delivered right to you*

*All cars are delivered to the parking garage at 290 Marine Way (marked with a P on the map), which is right on the docks’ shared boardwalk. The farthest AJ Dock offers a shuttle that drops off very close by. Due to parking restrictions and city regulations, we are unable to deliver to your dock address.

Use the map to locate your dock in relation to the garage. To see our favorite local food and activity recommendations, zoom out and press the menu button in the top left corner .

About the Parking Garage

The Marine Way Parking Garage has 4 levels, and level 5 is the Downtown Public Library. Unless the vehicle has a permit, parking must be paid during business hours (Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM). After 4:00 PM, the entire garage is free to park in.

Level 1 (spots 1-30) is strictly hourly cash parking. When we deliver cars to cash parking, we will pay for parking until your trip start time. If you return the car to cash parking during business hours, you will need to pay for parking until 4:00 PM that day. If no hourly spots are available, please call me immediately and we will work out a solution to avoid parking tickets or fines.

All upper levels are permit parking only. The permit system is by license plate (there is no tag or sticker), and we will let you know if your vehicle has a permit. You can return permitted vehicles at any time to any spot on levels 2-4 for free.

Lastly, I do advise making sure to return to downtown at least one hour before last call in case of any parking issues.

Planning your day?

Plan around the crowd by taking a peak at Juneau’s Cruise Ship Calendar. The more ships that are in port, the more crowded certain excursion destinations will be (like Mendenhall Glacier).

If you’re planning on visiting any of Juneau’s high traffic landmarks, consult the calendar to know what you’re getting into.  Consider zipping out early to beat the first bus, or staying a little later as the crowds return to their ships for dinner.
