Situated in the heart of “the valley,” the apartment is located in a quaint neighborhood nestled between the mountains. Staying here will give you the true local feel of Juneau. Grocery stores, restaurants, a post office, playgrounds, a library, a swimming pool, and hiking trails are all located within a 2 mile radius. The bedroom window faces north toward Mendenhall Glacier (not visible), over which the northern lights might be seen on clear winter nights if you are especially lucky.
Pet Friendly
Your furry friends are welcome here! The unit has access to a shared fenced in backyard for friendly and supervised pets. Pets must be approved before the rental starts. Limitations and fees may apply.
Green Features
The apartment is fully electric, powered 100%* by hydroelectric energy produced just for Juneau, complete with two Level 2 EV chargers. Recycling and food scrap collection is included. The scraps collected will be composted to nourish our family food garden. Even the plumbing is traditional copper instead of plastic PEX.

Alaskan Property Rentals is a business owned by Warmbread Hospitality LLC, our family owned company.
Attached to our main house, this apartment has been a dream of ours since 2019. After some construction delays during COVID, we finally opened it for rental in 2022. But we still have more plans for it up our sleeves. On the docket: Constructing a washer/dryer solution, developing a nice outdoor patio space, fencing off its own dedicated yard space, and more.
We are excited to host you for your stay in Juneau, and thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for choosing to stay with us. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, we would be happy to accomodate.
Serene dreams
A darker color scheme was chosen for the bedroom to promote deeper relaxation. Sleep soundly no matter the season with blackout curtains for every window (including the living room). For a quieter experience, sound-buffering art panels are located throughout the space. A fan is also provided if you need white noise.
Dedicated internet and Wifi is provided so you can make the most of the workspace in the bedroom.
Healthy home cooking
Kitchenette? I suppose. But there’s more than meets the eye here. That microwave? Yeah it’s an oven, too. That toaster? Yep, it moonlights as a pizza oven AND an air-fryer. That cutting board? It identifies as a counter. This “kitchenette” packs the punch of a real kitchen with a fraction of the footprint.
From can openers and corkscrews to steak knives and egg beaters, we’ve stocked this kitchenette with everything. In fact, if you find it’s missing something, let us know and we will try to get it for you.
We selected pots and pans, cookware and utensils to purposely reduce toxin exposure and plastic use. Even the spice jars are reusable glass, which can be refilled at locally owned grocery stores (Rainbow Foods is our go-to for spices).
